Describe pace and distance honestly
“An easy 5k in the park before work” is clearer than “looking for a gym buddy”. Restarting after a break? Say so — a partner with a similar pace is the better match.
An example to adaptWeekday morning runs, 3–5k at an easy pace. Open to a one-off run or regular company.
One-off or regular company?
An intent in Kompanion is about a specific plan, not a standing training subscription. If you want regularity, say so — but treat the first run as a trial.
Choose a busy place and daylight
For a first run together, a lively park or embankment by day works. Don’t agree to isolated routes or meeting at someone’s home.
Agree a specific landmark in the chat. If the pace doesn’t match, it’s fine to split up.
No obligations afterwards
A shared stretch or coffee afterwards happens only if both people want it. Each participant records the meeting outcome separately.
